🔥 Ready to find out why your brand isn’t converting like it should?

In this episode of Be You Brand Podcast, I explore the idea of creating more spaciousness and alignment in my business. If you’re an entrepreneur who’s been feeling stretched thin or uninspired in your content, I’ve got some insights to share. This post covers the core concepts from Episode 55, where I dive into my “Do, Delete, or Delegate” method for simplifying business tasks and the creative strategy I use to stay inspired. Read on for an inside look at how you can take these strategies and apply them in your own business to feel more aligned and motivated every day.

Reassessing Every Part of Your Business for Alignment

Since our annual Be You Brand Live event, I’ve been feeling a call to slow down and simplify every part of my business. This up-level has shown me the importance of creating space—not just in my schedule, but in the way I approach my work. Running a small, mighty team gives me the freedom to build this business the way I want, but it also requires intentional decisions about where to focus my energy.

One of the biggest lessons I’ve learned recently is how essential it is to align life and business. When you’re clear on your values and vision, it becomes much easier to make decisions that support your overall well-being. And as a solopreneur or small business owner, you are your business, so this alignment matters.

The “Do, Delete, or Delegate” Method for Simplifying Business Tasks

One approach that has transformed how I work is the “Do, Delete, or Delegate” method. Essentially, I’m looking at each part of my business to see what needs my attention, what can be delegated, and what can simply be removed altogether. This process has helped me focus on tasks that truly matter, whether it’s related to marketing, client work, or content creation.

When it comes to platforms, for example, I decided to step back from YouTube because it wasn’t delivering the impact I wanted. Instead, I’m focusing on the channels where I feel most inspired and where my audience is most engaged, like this podcast and my social media. This clarity allows me to put my energy where it will be most effective.

Pro tip: If you’re feeling overwhelmed, try the “Do, Delete, or Delegate” approach to assess what’s essential in your business. Ask yourself: “Is this task truly serving me, or can it be done differently?”

A Content Creation Hack to Keep You Inspired

One of the biggest challenges as a content creator is staying inspired, especially when you’re busy. I’ve found that separating the brainstorming phase from the creation phase is a game-changer. Here’s what that looks like:

This two-step process ensures that my content always comes from a place of genuine inspiration, which I’ve seen makes a huge difference in engagement. It’s a hack I teach my clients, too, because it allows you to create content consistently without feeling drained.

Planning for 2025: Set Aligned Intentions for Your Business

With the new year on the horizon, now’s the time to start setting aligned goals for 2025. I’m looking at each aspect of my business, using the same approach: “Do, Delete, or Delegate.” If you’re planning for the year ahead, take time to clarify what feels aligned for you. Set intentions that reflect your values, mission, and the impact you want to create.

Remember, as the CEO of your own business, you have the power to shape it in any way that lights you up.
